We are a charity committed primarily to raising funds for NHS Cancer Wards across the North East of England and providing much-needed support for all types of Cancer.
Our work simply couldn’t happen without amazing supporters like you who donate the money that funds it.
Whether it’s cheering Byker Bear or helping us at Head Office, a few hours of your time can make a huge difference to our work.
Setting up your own fundraiser could be great fun and also provide self satisfaction knowing you supported us by having a great time!
So far the trust has raised around half a million pounds through sponsored events and donations and we are incredibly proud of our work to date.
We offer a whole host of support services at our Crook Centre ranging from financial matters to complementary therapies and massage. We’re also here to listen and talk in confidence.
Funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, has enabled us to secure the ground fees for the next year also we have been able to have the decking modified to fit onto holiday home’s new pitch which will allow cancer patients to look out over the river whilst they sit comfortably on our new outdoor furniture complete with table and parasol, we have also had the holiday home valeted and we have replaced some of the blinds and curtains, we have also purchased a power washer to allow us to keep the outside of the holiday home as spotless as the inside, we would like to say a Huge Thanks to the Government for making this possible.
